to be honest, madali lang naman ang dentistry.
I mean, sige kung yung board exam namin, tadtarin mo ng questions na puro about dentistry lang (wala na kaming reklamo pagdating sa practical phase), as in walang general medical subjects. diba ang dali non, i mean like, sobrang tataas ung national passing rate. for us dental school graduates, sobrang dali non, na practice namin eh nang paulit ulit. tapos dagdagan mo pa ng review diba.
na practice kasi namin. for 2 years, or yung iba more than two years silang nagclinical (alam mo na like me tamad ans sabog mag sched ng time, 2 years and one sem ko tinapos clinical :D :D :D)
So yun na nga if puro dental procedure ung ipapaexam mo samin, easy breezy yan.
eh may general medical subjects. i'm not saying na dapat tanggalin nila un sa boards namin. i'm just saying since hindi naman namin na practice or we didn't really dwell on the anatomy and the function of the body as a whole for so long, parang pinasadahan lang talaga, malaman lang ung basic but not exactly which part of this certain body part is beside this part. gets? i mean. Yeah, i used to memorize the entire muscle and skeletal parts ng body pero after I passed gen anatomy and physio hindi naman naretain lahat, special after that puro na kami dental subjects. eh like yung oral anatomy, hindi ko naman mamememorize by heart ang anatomy ng each tooth if hindi ko nakikita lagi. i swear, oral anatomy days sobrang hirap na hirap ako, pero after kami tadtarin ng dental subjects and sympre expose kami sa oral cavity ng tao plus treating patients sympre dude, kaya kong i identify ibat ibang ngipin, pati anomaly nya. (naks, yabang)
i'm just saying, please forgive me, if im having a hard time, recalling general medicine subjects kasi di naman ako nagtreat ng patients like med students, na tadtad din naman sa duties sa hospital may clerkship(?) and internship pa sila. diba nga the best teacher is experience.
so ayun. naisip ko lang. and gusto ko magrant.
BUT. don't get me wrong, naaayos naman to. i mean yeah, ulit ulitin mo lang naman ung lecture, you'll get there. whew.
labo ko eh no.
mas okay siguro talaga if irequire ng ched na lahat ng dental schools may cadaver sa general anatomy.
please, it would really help dental students.
